You contact us and discuss what it
is you need from Yourfilm or make an online
enquiry. Once you feel comfortable, we can go ahead and schedule
a shoot date.
• You must
read and sign the Yourfilm Production Agreement.
• You pay a
50 percent deposit by Electronic Funds Transfer and we get started.
• If you live
interstate or overseas you book your flights, accommodation and
transport.
• We start
researching your business, gathering information, organising the
shoot and tailoring our interviews.
• You sit down
and make notes about what you think is essential to be covered in
your film. These are notes, ideas, questions – not a script!
The purpose is to clarify in your mind what is important and what
you want to get across. You then send this material to us.
• We all meet
in person (or by a conference call) and really get down to the nitty
gritty. We don’t finish until we are all on the same page
and you are really comfortable with it all.
• 24 hours
before the shoot we will contact you confirm that it’s all
systems go.
• You turn
up at the studio on the day dressed and ready to go.
Once we have wired you for sound and warmed you up we will start
shooting. We allow about 1 hour of time per person.
• Once it’s
over you can go home and we start the reel work (bad pun!)
– editing the footage so we can tell a story and draw out
the best of what we have captured.
• 3 weeks*
after filming we will upload a rough cut of your film into the ‘Yourfilm
Online Screening Room’. You will be given a personal username
password so you can access your web film and review it online.
• You advise
us of any changes within 48 hours of viewing the rough cut.
If there aren't any - fantastic! We'll go ahead and polish it up.
• If there
are adjustments needed, we will make the changes and then upload
the 'fine cut' of Yourfilm ready for you to sign off on.
• You sign
off and pay the balance of your account.
• We deliver
your masters and compressed files on DVD-ROM and just for fun, create
a YouTube account for you or upload the file to your existing account.
• Easy!
*turnaround time may be longer if your shoot is
