Pricing

Pricing built around
your brief.

What Shapes Cost

Every brief is different.
Here is what moves the number.

Video production pricing is not a fixed menu. The cost of a project is determined by a combination of factors that vary with every brief. Understanding these helps you scope your budget before we talk.

01
Crew days on location
The number of days filming, the size of the crew required, and the locations involved are the biggest driver of production cost. A one-day interview shoot in one location costs very differently from a three-day multi-location campaign.
02
Post-production scope
Editing, colour grading, motion graphics, animation, voice over, music, and subtitle versions all add to post time. A simple edit from a single camera takes less time than a multi-cam, multi-format production with custom graphics.
03
Number of deliverables
A single hero video costs less than a hero video plus six social cuts plus a vertical format plus two market-specific edits. Planning your deliverables at brief stage keeps costs predictable.
04
Locations and markets
Filming in multiple cities or countries adds crew travel, logistics, and coordination. YourCrew's global network means we can deploy in most markets without building a crew from scratch, which keeps multi-market costs manageable.
05
Talent and on-screen requirements
Professional talent, presenters, or large cast requirements affect production cost and scheduling. Interview-style shoots with internal stakeholders are generally simpler and faster to execute.
06
Creative complexity
A highly scripted, storyboarded production with complex creative development takes more pre-production time than a brief where the structure is clear and the approach is straightforward.
Two Ways to Engage

Project or subscription.
Pick the right fit.

Most clients start with a project. Many move to subscription once they see how the production system works. Both are valid. The difference is in how the engagement is structured and what you get access to.

the process is the same.

Creative development
Scripts, shot lists, and creative direction produced before the shoot. Nothing left to improvise on the day.

Production crew selected from the YourCrew network and briefed centrally. Consistent standard regardless of location.
Post-production management
Editing, colour, and all deliverables reviewed against the brief before they reach you. Revisions handled efficiently.
All formats delivered

Frequently Asked

Common questions
about pricing.

How do I get an accurate quote?

The most accurate quotes come from a brief conversation. Tell us what you are trying to achieve, where you need to film, what formats you need delivered, and any creative direction you have in mind. We will scope the production and come back with a detailed quote. Get in touch to start the conversation.

Do you have a minimum project size? +

We do not have a fixed minimum. Projects under $3,000 are generally difficult to scope in a way that maintains the production standard we hold across all our work. If your budget is below that, we are happy to have a conversation about what is achievable and whether a different format might work better.

What is the difference between project pricing and subscription? +

Project pricing is scoped per brief. You come with a specific need, we price and produce it. Subscription is an ongoing engagement that gives your brand access to the full YourFilm platform: production capacity, the YourCrew global network, and YourAssets for centralised library management. Most clients start on a project and move to subscription as production volume grows. View the subscription model here.

How long does a project take? +

Timeline depends on scope. A focused single-day shoot with a straightforward brief can turn around final content in two to three weeks. A multi-location campaign with significant post-production typically runs four to eight weeks from brief to delivery. We confirm the timeline in your quote before anything is locked in.

Can you film outside Australia? +

Yes. YourFilm operates in 40+ countries through the YourCrew network. We film across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, North America, South East Asia, and North Asia. International production is quoted with crew and logistics included. You brief one team. We handle the rest.

What happens to our footage after delivery? +

All raw footage is retained after every project. This means the next brief can build on what already exists rather than starting from zero. Subscription clients get access to YourAssets, which makes the entire library searchable and accessible to every team member who needs it.
